Life is so busy. It comes at us fast. If we're not careful, we can end up living reactively rather than proactively.
This is one reason that I love clear, simple organizational tools. When used consistently, they can make a huge difference.
One of my absolute favorites is called the Eisenhower Box. Recently, I had the chance to share this easy-to-use tool with our MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group at my church. You can watch a brief, interesting video about it here:
I try to take a few moments at the start and end of every workday to prioritize my work and then plan accordingly.
Finally, I've found it helpful to maintain two boxes - one for my work at church, and another for my daily life at home.
